The Christmas Day Dress

When it comes to Christmas, we all have our traditions.

This is especially true for me when it comes to choosing a Christmas Day outfit.

Every single year, for as long as I can remember, I’ve treated myself to a new ensemble (usually a dress) to wear on Christmas Day.

And while the dress will change from year to year, my criteria for choosing it remains the same. It has to be:

  • comfortable
  • functional
  • beautiful

This year we will be spending Christmas by the beach and I’ve been drawn to cool shades of blue, which is why I think this dress from Bohemian Traders could be The One. A wrap around midi dress with gorgeous flowy kimono sleeves, A-line shape and made from a nautical chic striped crepe fabric. I’ve paired the dress with a comfy pair of espadrille wedges that are neutral but with a hint of bling in the form of a silver strap across the toes.

And, all of a sudden, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

Gorgeous dress Sonia! My only concern would be functionality of leaning across the table to serve lunch and those sleeves :)
