Wear now, wear later

How’s the weather where you are?

For me, in Adelaide, it’s been f-f-freezing with plenty of rain. But next week? It’s set to warm up.

{That is, if the weather forecast is to be believed… hmmm.}

But I do live in hope!

And so the items I’ve been adding to my wardrobe are ones that I can wear now, wear later.

That is – items that I can wear now, layered up during the last of the wintery weather and I can also wear later, on their own (or at least with less layers) once spring has sprung.

This outfit is a great example of this fashion philosophy.

It features a fresh take on a cotton shirt dress, a sleeveless vest, jeans and sneakers. Together they make a great outfit, but they can also be mixed and matched separately into the rest of your wardrobe.

Right now, I could easily add a coat and beanie on top for extra warmth and when the chill has left the air, I can wear the outfit just like you see below. And then, when it warms up even more come summer, that gorgeous shirt dress can shine on its own.

Ahh, I can almost feel the warmth on my skin right now.

Wait. No. That’s the heater…
