When it comes to a new season, it’s always incredibly tempting to purchase wardrobe-loads of showpony pieces.
You know the ones?
Bang on-trend. Shiny. New. And very out there.
I definitely like to add a few of those pieces to my collection, but what I do always like to ensure I add to my wardrobe are basics.
Classic items that are timeless, and mix and match with everything else I own.
This spring, it’s all about the white top for me.
It looks brilliant with a simple pair of jeans and sneakers and can take you everywhere you need to go throughout the day.
With that in mind, here are 3 white tops for spring…
1. The stripe tee
A trans-seasonal favourite, this Katies stripe tee is made from 100% Australian cotton. It features a relaxed silhouette with a navy stripe, scoop neck and turned back cuff detailing on the sleeves. Easy to dress up or down, this tee pairs perfectly with almost anything. And the best part? It’s only $19.95. Add. To. Cart!
2. The lace top
I looove this top! This short angel sleeved top from Aussie brand Firefly features a beautiful contrasting lace panel around the boat neckline. It’s feminine and floaty and oh-so-fabulous. The lace detail and flowy silhouette make it a breeze to wear and dresses up a pair of jeans with effortless style.
3. The printed tee
A fun alternative to a plain white tee is a printed tee. This Ruby & Lilli number is limited edition and features a relaxed fit, longer length body, longer length sleeves and flattering V neckline. It also has a slightly slimmer sleeve and rhigh-lowigh low hemline and a raglan sleeve. I adore this cute star print – just enough of a statement without saying too much, too loudly.
