Christmas Gift Ideas Under $50

Hands up who’s finished their Christmas shopping?

Well done, permission to click away and put your feet up.

The rest of us? Read on.

This year I thought I’d put together a Christmas gift guide that features gifts all under $50.

Let’s face it: Christmas generally means we have numerous people to buy for and only limited budget to buy with. Plus my theory is that it’s not your birthday (which generally warrants a slightly more expensive gift) so $50 is the absolute ceiling limit.

So with that in mind, here are 19 Christmas gift ideas under $50…

Christmas Gift Ideas Under $15

Many of us might be involved in one (or many) Secret Santa type gift exchanges. These tend to have a lesser spend limit, with $15 being a fairly common price point.

In this collection, I’ve featured an eclectic mix of items from jewellery to homewares to skincare and even an Oxfam ‘unwrapped gift’ of a chicken that provides families in South Africa with an income, eggs and the ability to breed more chickens.

Christmas Gift Ideas Under $30

Next up: gifts under $30. This spend limit might be reserved for a special teacher, friends or even a family member.

For this amount of money you can really buy some cool stuff. A stunning set of champagne flutes for your bestie {a good excuse to drink some bubbles together!}, a new cookbook for your foodie father-in-law, a rad pool toy for your niece or a beautiful pair of earrings for that amazing teacher you want to thank for going above and beyond.

Heck, these are all fabulous options for a self-gift that won’t break the budget. And you deserve it!

Christmas Gift Ideas Under $50

And finally, gift ideas under $50. As I said, this is usually my upper spend limit at Christmas and is reserved for super special people. For you, this might be your family Kris Kringle limit or one you like to spend on your closest friends.

In this collection I’ve focussed on gifts that can be enjoyed at home. Too many cushions is never enough, so why not add one more to someone’s collection! Same deal with sparkling wine {especially one that comes in such beautiful packaging}. A groovy new outdoor chair, some sweet mugs and a totally on-trend cheese set would all be welcome additions, as would a super useful – and beautiful – calendar from Emma Kate Co.

It’s these finer details that makes a house a home.

Trick question- obviously the answer is the inflatable pink flamingo. She’s a good listener, doesn’t finish the wine and put the empty bottle back in the ice bucket and loves to be your to go to bird.
    Great post x

  10. hannah says

Miranda from Sex in the City movie scene when she is sitting pool side in her bathers despite the very obvious fact that she hasn’t had time to get beach ready. We could enjoy some extra time having a swim and a chat withou having to rush to the supermarket to find some wax! e

  11. says

As for my poolside companion, that would be Danielle from Keeping Up With The Holsbys. I want to finish her wine and put it back in the ice bucket while she’s not looking. And I miss her face. xx
