March outfit roundup

It’s been a little while since I’ve written a fashion post – sorry about that.

So, to make it up to you, I thought I’d go one better than sharing just one outfit with you – instead I’m sharing SIX. How’s that, my fabulous friends?!

You might find an entire outfit you love, or one or two key pieces that will update your autumn wardrobe and refresh your favourite outfits.

Right, let’s get stuck in.

Here’s a March outfit roundup of what I’ve been wearing this month.

Sonia Styling

Sussan Houndstooth Blazer $169.95 (size 8) | Sussan Winter Cami $49.95 (size 8) | Sussan Gold Pendant $29.95 | Sussan Belted Pleat Pant $109.95 (size 10) | Feather + Noise Heels $159

Outfit #1

What I love about this outfit is that it features all your classic elements – white top, black pants, blazer – but all have been updated to reflect current trends. It’s an ensemble that will take you from desk to drinks and each piece can be worked back with existing items in your wardrobe. I feel great when I wear this outfit and feel very put together.

Little Party Dress ‘Natalia’ Red Lace Dress $74.95 (size 8) | SPURR ‘Amelia’ Block Heels from THE ICONIC $39.95 {similar style}

Outfit #2

Hello, dancing lady emoji! I absolutely adore this dress – especially the fact that I bypassed my usual choice of black or white and went straight for bright, bold RED (which is actually a hot colour this winter). It’s such a flattering fit and oh-so-comfortable. I love that it has sleeves, making it cooler weather friendly and the fitted bodice + flared skirt = perfection.

Sonia Styling

Bohemian Traders ‘Extended’ Blazer $229 (size XS) | Feather + Noise ‘Carrie’ Cami $39 (size 8) | Bohemian Traders Mid Wash Skinny Jean $149 (size 28)

Outfit #3

Now, this is an outfit you’d likely find me wearing when out to dinner or drinks. Jeans, cami and a blazer. But what I love about this blazer is its unexpected colour, thick sateen fabric, the AWESOME buttons and the tie belt (which is not attached). It’s the kind of outfit I feel comfortable and confident in. Win, win!

Sonia Styling

Little Party Dress ‘Alison’ White Floral Dress $69.95 (size 8) | Lack of Color ‘The Dreamer’ Hat $59 {similar style} | ALDO ‘Larissi’ Ankle Boots from THE ICONIC $99 {similar style}

Outfit #4

Doesn’t this outfit just scream AUTUMN?! A pretty floral dress, a wool hat and some ankle boots. Set! Another Little Party Dress frock that’s flattering and affordable. Worth noting: it’s quite low – front and back – so I’ve had my local tailor stitch both for me so that I can wear a bra without it showing. Also? I feel a wool hat addiction coming on this winter… you’ve been warned!

Sonia Styling

Boom Shankar ‘Bella’ Top $62.30 (size 8) | Jeanswest Freeform 360 High Waisted Skinny Jean $129 (size 10) | Colette ‘Lauren’ Crossbody Bag $54.99 | Feather + Noise Heels $159

Outfit #5

Sometimes you just can’t beat a black and white outfit. I love, love, love the embroidery detail on the top plus the fact that it’s a relaxed fit with adjustable straps. It’s the kind of piece that can be worn to work, casually or dressed up. The jeans are the famous Jeanswest Freeform 360 style – meaning stretch from every angle to ensure a perfect fit. Add a fabulous little black bag and you’re ready to go!

Sonia Styling

Bohemian Traders Embroidered Boho Top $159 (size XS) | Bohemian Traders Mid Wash Skinny Jean $149 (size 28)

Outfit #6

Sonia’s love of embroidery strikes again! This time in the form of this transeasonal 100% cotton feminine and floaty top. As for the jeans – I’ve had quite a few people ask me if this style has stretch. The answer is YES! They’re also high waisted without being too high, making them the perfect choice for all day (and all night) wear.

    You look amazing in that floral dress with the hat, so feminine, but that red dress looks stunning on you too. I can’t decide which is my favourite! xx
